Job Summary:

The Program Manager is a key member of the Program Team at Canadian Lutheran World Relief. This role reports to the Director - Programs and is responsible for managing a portfolio of humanitarian assistance projects funded by institutional donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to proposal and project development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
  • Manage project implementation with partners, providing technical support with results-based management (RBM) and monitoring and evaluation (M&E).
  • Coordinate financial and narrative reporting for donors, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Collaborate with the Program Team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop strategies to address challenges.

Requirements:

  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of results-based management (RBM) and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
