Marilynne Restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure. A high level of attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential for this role.

Hours of WorkThe successful candidate will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
