We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Marilynne Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
