We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Marilynne Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
