Job Title: Lodge Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lodge Manager to join our team at Horizon North. As a Lodge Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of an assigned camp, ensuring the highest level of customer service and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of an assigned camp, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Meet with clients and provide quality customer service by addressing their special requests and concerns in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Supervise, train, and manage staff performance issues, including scheduling, payroll, and daily and weekly meetings.
  • Inspect, evaluate, and ensure the camp cleanliness, food quality, and presentation, and control inventory to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports, and maintain project budget, tracking occupancy, staffing, and monitoring expenses.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including liaisons with the client, managing room bookings, and preparing reports.
  • Troubleshoot minor maintenance problems if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Camp, hotel, or restaurant management experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations is an asset.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Advanced Food Safety certification and First Aid certification.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • A clear criminal record check is required for this role.
