Job Summary

This is a key role within the College of New Caledonia, responsible for providing administrative support to the admissions and registration process. The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Principal, Operational Manager, and programming departments to ensure the smooth operation of admissions activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of admissions and registration processes
  • Provide administrative support to the admissions team, including data entry, report preparation, and communication with students and staff
  • Collaborate with the Senior Accounting Clerk to process accounts receivable and payable
  • Support the development and maintenance of efficient and effective information and communication systems
  • Ensure compliance with Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPOP) regulations and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and the public
  • Participate in campus committees as operationally required
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years relevant experience
  • Minimum of two years post-secondary business and office administration
  • Sound judgement and exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks, responsibilities, and inquiries in a short time span
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Able to articulate College policies and procedures
  • Able to work independently and motivate others while maintaining quality services
Working Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a positive work atmosphere is essential.
