We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our team as a Manager of National Accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing the company's relationships with a group of Multi-Unit chain accounts.
Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, managing a group of key accounts to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction, and leading and mentoring a high-performing team of Account Managers and Administrators to achieve team and individual goals.
You will also be responsible for gathering market knowledge, identifying market opportunities, and developing effective strategies to grow profitability share for accounts, collaborating with stakeholders within the client organizations to propose and secure new account agreements, and negotiating long-term contracts to preserve critical areas of our base contracts.
In addition, you will analyze sales and receivables data to identify issues and understand areas for improvement, develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with departments including Marketing, Warehousing, Finance, Logistics, and Customer Relations, and maintain ongoing knowledge of distribution trends through various forms of media.
