Business Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Account Manager to join our team at Your Neighbourhood Credit Union Limited. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, providing expert underwriting services, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement action plans to enhance commercial business development
* Participate in external activities to promote YNCU's image and reputation
* Provide expert underwriting services, including complex applications and reviews
* Administer a portfolio of larger and more complex commercial accounts
* Collaborate with Branch staff to support existing and new commercial and agriculture member relationships
* Respond to business opportunities in a timely manner and manage member concerns or issues
Requirements
* 3+ years of previous commercial lending experience
* Post-secondary diploma, degree, and/or certification in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related program
* Completion of Credit Union Commercial Lending courses or equivalent knowledge
* Strong analytical skills and ability to understand financial statements
* Prior sales and service experience within the financial services industry and general knowledge of available products & services
* Ability to work outside of normal business hours when required
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
* Must be bondable
