We are seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team as a North America Business Development Lead. As a key player in our global growth strategy, you will be responsible for building and managing high-performing teams, driving regional growth initiatives, and acting as a key player-coach within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive regional growth in alignment with Algo's overarching goals.
  2. Serve as a member of the sales leadership team, collaborating with Channel Sales, Partner Sales, and Technical Selling teams to optimize growth opportunities.

Leadership and Team Management:

  1. Lead and manage a team of seven business development representatives spanning the U.S.
  2. Build and scale the Business Development team, including recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  3. Provide mentorship and foster a high-performance culture within the team.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Engagement:

  1. Work across a matrix organization to align business development efforts with channel and partner strategies.
  2. Leverage cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Engineering to deliver tailored solutions to customers and partners.

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Proven experience in the UC or AV technology sector, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics.
  2. Demonstrated success in business development or sales leadership roles, including team management and regional growth initiatives.
  3. Agile mindset with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
  4. Exceptional leadership skills with a player-coach mentality; willing to roll up sleeves and engage directly in sales cycles when needed.
  5. Excellent collaboration and communication skills; adept at navigating matrix organizations and working with diverse teams.
  6. Strategic vision to build and scale a global business development function from the ground up.
  7. Proven ability to navigate diverse cultural and business landscapes across multiple regions, including North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
  8. Experience leveraging data analytics tools to assess market opportunities, track team performance, and optimize strategies.
