We are seeking a skilled Stationary Operating Engineer to join our team at St. Helen's Meat Packers Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete and maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of plant equipment and systems.
- Instruct and train apprentices in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment.
- Assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctioning and ensure normal operation.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Write detailed reports on plant operations and maintenance activities.
- College diploma or certificate in a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the food processing industry.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- May be required to work overtime during peak periods.
- English is the primary language of communication.
