About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stationary Engineer to join our team at Black & McDonald Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our ammonia plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain air compressors, chillers, water towers, and other critical equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and testing of equipment and building infrastructure
  • Conduct minor repairs and general maintenance duties associated with building systems
  • Monitor and maintain water treatment for chillers and cooling towers
  • Document air compressor readings, plant steam production and consumption, and gas consumption
Requirements
  • Must possess a 3rd Class Power Engineer certificate or higher
  • Must have experience working as an operator in an ammonia plant
  • Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 3:30 pm-3:30 am on a continental shift
