Job Title: Stationary Operating Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Operating Engineer to join our team at St. Helen's Meat Packers Limited.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating plant equipment and systems, ensuring they are functioning properly and efficiently. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete and maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of plant equipment and systems.
  • Instruct and train apprentices in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
  • Assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and ensure normal operation.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Write and submit reports on plant operations and maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the food processing industry.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment and to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
