Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Payroll Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the payroll department by executing payroll activities with precision and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the full cycle of in-house weekly and biweekly payroll for 400+ employees, including providing vacation coverage.
  • Confirm and process new hire information, manage status changes, enter tax details, apply employee deductions, verify terminations, and process Records of Employment (ROEs).
  • Ensure all received information is processed accurately within the correct pay period, reflecting any changes appropriately.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of union agreements, benefits, and compliance with all external agencies.
  • Assist with reconciliations, year-to-date calculations, and union remittances.
  • Support the orientation and new hire process.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Payroll Experience
  • Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation or active pursuit of the designation is an asset.
