We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Kaiser Haus Wine Bar & Bistro. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our guests.
Job Summary:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
- Determine the size of food portions and costs to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for our restaurant.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
