About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Load King Transport Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Industrial Cleaning: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances, make adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our employees and visitors.
  • Seasonal Tasks: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
