About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Saanichton Coffee Shop. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods, and packaging take-out orders.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of food quantities used and restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
