Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

JAG 'N SUGAR RESTAURANTS INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise Food Service Staff: Lead and train a team of food service staff to ensure they are meeting our high standards of quality and service.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies to ensure we have what we need to deliver exceptional food and service.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets to ensure we are operating within our means.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
  • Prepare Reports: Submit regular reports to management to ensure we are meeting our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
