Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Gerhard Buchner Private Household.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the household are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating maintenance and repair services, and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services, including scheduling and assigning tasks to staff.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good condition.
  • Co-ordinate in-house laundry services, ensuring that all laundry is completed to a high standard.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Working Conditions:

The Housekeeping Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to multitask. The role will involve standing for extended periods and working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
