Job Summary

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Associate to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide strategic support and leadership on a broad range of Human Resource functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Support: Provide leadership and strategic support to the health region on a broad range of Human Resource functions, including Employment, Labour Relations, Work Place Reorganization, Statistical reporting, HRIS administration, LEAN initiatives, and training for management, staff, and other external stakeholders.
  • Policy Development: Assist with the development of policies and procedures, and perform research of best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Develop training materials and provide technical advice on internal business applications, such as the HR Portal and Gateway.
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in special projects, managing multiple priorities in a complex environment through the use of strategic planning, project management, and continuous relationship management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) or Bachelor of Administration (BAdmin) degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licenses: Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Competencies: Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to adapt to and implement change, with advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access).
