About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional quality and service to our guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers.
- Manage the host stand, review the reservation book, and make recommendations for the table sections' setup.
- Ensure the cleanliness of each section of the restaurants, make necessary improvements, and check each table before opening to ensure it is properly set up.
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, and restaurant information.
Requirements:
- One to two years of previous experience in a Food and Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within a luxury hotel is considered an asset.
- Ability to operate computer equipment and other food and beverage computer systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Administrative skills are beneficial.
- Working knowledge of open table is beneficial.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
- Must have a current Serving it Right certificate.
- Ability to work in Canada.
