Job Description

Miles Of Smiles is seeking a motivated and dedicated Child Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified individual who can develop and implement engaging child-care programs, work collaboratively with colleagues, and provide exceptional care to our young learners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to think creatively, and demonstrate a passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the overall growth and development of children;
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations;
  • Engage children in various activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, to encourage creativity and imagination;
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors;
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that meets the needs of all children;
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants;
Suitable Candidates

The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience working with children aged 0-12 years, and a solid understanding of child development principles. They must also be fluent in English, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, Miles Of Smiles offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
