Job Title: Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Development Specialist to join our team at Smart Kids Learning Centre Inc.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is committed to supporting the growth and development of young children. As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating engaging and educational programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in children.

You will work collaboratively with our experienced team to design and implement child-care programs, lead activities, and establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement child-care programs that support the overall development of children
  • Lead activities that stimulate creativity, imagination, and learning, such as storytelling, singing, and outings
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's well-being and security
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers working with children
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in early childhood education, with a degree from a reputable institution
  • At least 1-6 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others
  • A passion for supporting the growth and development of young children
