Job Description:Role Summary

The Child Development Specialist will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that supports the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes planning and implementing child-care programs, observing and recording children's progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless implementation of educational initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers while ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that cater to diverse needs and abilities.
  • Assisting Early Childhood Educators in carrying out programs that promote children's overall development.
  • Leading activities that stimulate children's curiosity, creativity, and imagination.
  • Ordering supplies and equipment necessary for program implementation.
  • Assisting in record-keeping and reporting on children's progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (e.g., Child Development, Education).
  • Valid certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role.
