Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our legal team at Sylvestre Painchaud et associés. As an Administrative Assistant - Legal Support, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Open and distribute incoming mail and other materials
  • Schedule appointments and confirm details
  • Maintain a filing system and ensure documents are up-to-date
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications
