About the Role

The Director of GWAM & GA IT Finance will serve as a trusted finance advisor to the GWAM and GA Technology leader and his teams. This individual will lead a team supporting technology finance activities and partner with peer Expense Directors to provide clear and actionable analysis for monthly expense results, outlook, and budgets across the function.

This position is responsible for keeping functional and business entity management well-informed of issues and status through formal reviews with the GWAM & GA Technology leadership, Segment CFOs, and Global Technology leadership on a recurring basis. Linking various drivers of expenses across products, markets, and value chains is crucial to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting: Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly expense reports meeting the needs of various users and customers. This includes maintaining and updating expense accounting and reporting processes to align with evolving internal and external practices.
  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Lead the coordination and preparation of annual expense budgets for inclusion in the annual planning process. This involves working with Planning Teams and CFOs to influence process, policy, and systems enabling more transparent expense planning and efficiency improvements.
  • Analysis: Perform key financial analysis for the Global CIO, Segment CIOs, CFOs, and GMs on an ongoing basis. This entails producing in-depth analyses/forecasting/recommendations for targeted expense items, cost-benefit analyses, fixed/variable costing, vendor analysis, offshoring assessments, and staffing models.
  • Advisory: Act as a business partner and finance advisor to GWAM and GA Technology Leadership, providing financial analysis and advice for critical initiatives and management/board reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of financial, planning & analysis functions and activities, with deep knowledge of IT function, capitalization, project accounting, and reporting.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to deliver presentations tailored to different levels of leadership.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a demanding environment.
  • Financial modeling skills.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location considerations.
