Job Title: Art Gallery Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Art Gallery Coordinator to join our team at the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and advertise promotional programs to engage our audience and drive attendance to our exhibitions.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including manual and electronic filing, and record payments received.
  • Plan and organize daily gallery operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our visitors.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Computer and Technology Skills:
  • Proficiency in Mac OS.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Personal Suitability:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
