Job Title: Art Gallery Coordinator

At the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Art Gallery Coordinator. This role is responsible for implementing and advertising promotional programs, performing clerical activities, and planning and organizing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement and advertise promotional programs to attract visitors and increase engagement
* Perform clerical activities, such as manual and electronic filing, and record payments received
* Plan and organize daily operations, including setup and takedown of exhibitions

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Computer and Technology Skills:

* Proficient in Mac OS
* Experience with Adobe Suite
* Familiarity with social media platforms

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

* Ability to work in a busy art centre environment
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Personal Suitability:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
