Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapist, Mental Health and Addictions, to join our team at MASTRS/OASIS. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals struggling with mental health and addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to guide treatment planning
  • Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-informed approaches
  • Support patients and their families through education and counseling
  • Develop and present psycho-educational sessions
  • Liaise with referral sources and community organizations
  • Participate in quality initiatives and track indicators
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a recognized Social Sciences program with addiction-specific education
  • Valid registration with the relevant college/governing body in Ontario
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in group and individual counseling
  • Experience working with older adults and families
  • Knowledge of addictions and continuum of care
