We are seeking a skilled Therapist, Mental Health & Addiction, to join our Trillium Program. As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide empathetic and non-judgmental care to individuals struggling with mental health and substance use issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning and guide clinical decision-making.
  • Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-informed approaches, including Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
  • Support family members through education and counseling, as needed.
  • Develop and present psycho-educational sessions to promote patient understanding and empowerment.
  • Liaise with referral sources and community organizations to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a recognized Social Sciences program, with addiction-specific education.
  • Valid registration with the relevant college or governing body in Ontario, such as the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO).
  • Certification in Addiction Counselling (ICADC) or pursuit of relevant credential preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in group and individual counseling, with a focus on mental health and addiction.
