Part-Time NHL DAI Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time NHL DAI Operator to join our team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our broadcast operations team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting live Ad insertion on NHL games for the season on Sportsnet+ streaming services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee technical setup and routing of live broadcast signals.
  • Execute Ad triggers throughout each NHL game.
  • Monitor signals to ensure they meet Sportsnet's broadcast standards.
  • Work closely with the Media Transmission team and technical Support for trouble shooting on-air issues.
  • Liaise with Sportsnet's broadcast transmission team for game updates and DAI assignments.
  • Provide detailed technical reports after each game.
  • Adhere to all broadcast policies & procedures.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of broadcast operations.
  • Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of NHL production formats is an asset.
