About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Granville- West Elm. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate a cash register, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing store.
- Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, and move merchandise as needed.
