About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Williams Sonoma during the holiday season. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized service to customers, answering questions and making recommendations on products
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling sales, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves and ensuring visual displays are appealing
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing store environment
- Meet or exceed sales targets and provide feedback to management on sales trends and customer preferences
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
