About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant at 2856937 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Ensure all rooms and public areas are clean and sanitized to the highest standards.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Debris Removal: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Supply Management: Shop for food and household supplies as needed.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, initiative, organized, and a team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
