About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team at 2856937 ONTARIO INC as a Housekeeping Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and shop for food and household supplies.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move objects weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate punctuality, initiative, and a strong work ethic, and be a team player.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
