Overview

At Jump, we are seeking a highly skilled Wind Project Manager to oversee the completion of our construction projects in Montreal. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and controlling the completion of construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Prepare submissions and execute projects;
  2. Negotiate agreements with subcontractors and verify their compliance;
  3. Direct project managers and superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and work relations meet standards;
  4. Assist in negotiating customer contracts and analyze cost control reports;
  5. Assign personnel to construction sites and monitor productivity;
  6. Ensure customer satisfaction while respecting safety, costs, schedule, and quality of work;
  7. Apply health and safety specifications and prevention programs specific to each project;
  8. Monitor procedures with operational staff and participate in site start-up meetings and reviews;
  9. Evaluate personnel under your responsibility according to company policies and ensure their development;
  10. Perform other tasks required for the execution of your mandate.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering;
  • 15 years of relevant experience in construction project management;
  • Relevant experience in wind farm construction;
  • Mastery of MS Office and MS Project software;
  • Bilingualism (English and French) as it is an asset;
