As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our wind energy projects.

Job Overview

This role requires a strong technical background, a high degree of safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to turbine operation, including component failures and system malfunctions.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of components as needed, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately in service logs and reports.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
Qualifications:
  • Technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy fields.
  • Siemens and GWO Certification are preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
