Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at O/A Mexicali rosa's. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of our business run smoothly and efficiently.
About the Role:
- This is a permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week.
- The successful candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Main Responsibilities:
- To establish effective methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
- To supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- To train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence within the restaurant.
- To estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing profitability.
- To hire and manage food service staff, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure their success.
- To maintain high-quality standards in food and service, responding promptly to customer complaints or concerns.
- To prepare budgets and cost estimates, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- To maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
- To prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- To provide expert knowledge of culinary genres and trends, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- To supervise and check assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys, and other essential tasks.
- To establish work schedules and optimize staffing levels, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- You will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
- You will need to stand for extended periods, frequently bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
- You must have strong attention to detail, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
