Supply Chain Management Specialist

Purchaser Role
At Paraffin Store Limited, we are seeking a Purchaser to join our team. The Purchaser will be responsible for procuring and managing the supply chain for our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with suppliers to determine the best options for our products.
- Review quotes and negotiate prices to ensure the best value for our company.
- Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality and quantity standards.
- Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that we are within our financial means.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.
- Review our requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise we need to purchase.
- Organize and maintain our inventory to ensure that we have the right products in stock at the right time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or supply chain management.
- 3-4 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP software, and other relevant tools.
