Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator Specialist to join our Dealer Order Team at Canadian Tire Corporation.


This is a critical role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Supply Chain Coordinator Specialist, you will act as the liaison between our retail stores and internal departments to resolve Supply Chain and store order-related issues.


You will be responsible for investigating the status of store orders, providing accurate information on product availability, and enabling emergency orders to ensure optimal retail in-stock positions.


The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent prioritization skills, and the ability to effectively manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Investigate the status of existing store orders and create emergency orders on behalf of stores in AOM;
  • Use real-time store and purchase order information to provide accurate in-stock dates and recommend solutions that balance service with cost;
  • Work closely with Logistics, DC Operations, Transportation, and other internal stakeholders to provide timely resolution and information required to ensure a positive customer experience;
  • Cross-train on all core and specialty processes to enable exceptional customer service and support team effectiveness.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access;
  • Bilingualism (English/French) and Canadian Tire Retail store experience are assets;
  • Prior experience in Logistics, Distribution, Transportation, or Marketing is an asset.
