Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver - Goods Transportation Specialist to join our team at Delivering Smile Services Ltd.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a salary of $65,000 per year. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, as well as perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • A valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Ability to handle heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Basic security clearance and a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will have experience working in dusty environments, handling repetitive tasks, and operating GPS navigation equipment. They must also be able to communicate effectively and work independently. Flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, and a hardworking attitude are essential qualities for this role.
