VIP Cast Member Job Description

About the Role:

Cineplex is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic VIP Cast Member to join our team. As a VIP Cast Member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in our luxurious VIP lounges and auditoriums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Interactions: Engage with guests in a friendly and efficient manner, setting the tone for a personalized VIP experience.
  • Service Environment: Prepare the service environment, including preparing tables, laying out napkins and utensils, and refilling condiments.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks to guests seated in the lounge and auditoriums, as required.
  • Communication: Stay updated on current menu options, specialties, and menu deviations, and share in-depth menu expertise with guests to promote products and services available within the VIP Concept.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean workspace, washing glassware and utensils after each use, and performing basic cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Service Determination: Utilize training from Smart Serve Ontario to determine if a guest has been over-served alcohol.

Requirements:

  • Positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience working as a server.
  • Superior understanding of hospitality and customer service, and proven ability to deliver an exceptional Guest Experience.
  • Proven problem-solving and quick thinking skills in fast-paced situations.
  • Math skills and computer literacy.
  • Extended periods of time standing, walking, bending, carrying, and assisting with bartending tasks.
  • A flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Smart Serve Certification and being of legal age to serve alcohol in fully licensed venues is required for this role.
