About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team at US Tech Solutions.

Job Description

This is a full-time opportunity that requires strong planning and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, supply chain management, or business administration, and 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing communications with project managers and service offices, executing activities such as production planning, database management, and material flow. They will also be expected to maintain effective communication between planning and production teams, ensure resources are used efficiently to meet short- and long-term objectives, and provide periodic reports to management.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to provide value-added Lean solutions for material flow and participate in regular meetings with various other manufacturing team functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage communications with project managers and service offices
  • Execute activities such as production planning, database management, and material flow
  • Maintain effective communication between planning and production teams
  • Ensure resources are used efficiently to meet short- and long-term objectives
  • Provide periodic reports to management
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to provide value-added Lean solutions
Qualifications
  • DEC (college diploma) in engineering, supply chain management, or business administration
  • 3-5 years' experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment
  • Subject knowledge on electrical power distribution equipment manufacturing (an asset)
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and advanced knowledge of applications (e.g., Access, Excel)
  • English proficiency for collaboration with suppliers, customers, and partners provincially and internationally
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively, with strong decision-making skills
  • Experience in conflict management and resolution
  • Meticulous with the ability to multi-task
