Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team at Qualitrol Company. As a Shipping Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of shipments, from receiving and packing to shipping and tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pack products using warehousing equipment, such as pallet jacks or hoists, to ensure timely and safe delivery.
  • Generate and secure shipping paperwork and labels for each shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Receive material in Oracle and generate shipping paperwork accurately and promptly, minimizing delays and errors.
  • Manage shipping inventory, ensuring it is moved and stored in the designated area in the warehouse, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Back up in shippers' absence, providing seamless support and ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Order necessary supplies for the shipping department, maintaining a well-stocked and efficient operation.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and participate in regular cleaning and maintenance, adhering to company safety standards.
  • Meet customer order specifics in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Operate warehouse machinery safely and efficiently, minimizing risks and maximizing productivity.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Physical capability to perform basic tasks such as lifting up to 50lb, with a focus on safety and ergonomics.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping, including knowledge of regulations and compliance.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
