Your Impact
As a Shipping Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of shipments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Packing products using warehousing equipment, such as pallet jacks or hoists.
- Generating and securing shipping paperwork and labels for each shipment.
- Receiving material in Oracle and generating shipping paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Managing shipping inventory, ensuring it is moved and stored in the designated area in the warehouse.
- Backing up in shippers' absence.
- Ordering necessary supplies for the shipping department.
- Maintaining a safe work environment and taking part in regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Meeting customer order specifics in a timely manner.
- Operating warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
- Physical capability to perform basic tasks such as lifting up to 50lb.
- Experience with domestic and international shipping.
- Fluency in English.
