HPGR Service Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Weir. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the general health of our HPGR machines in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and service clients HPGR equipment, including grease and oil lube systems.
- Inspect wear components (wear plates, hoppers, slide plates), tyres and rotating equipment.
- Provide technical support, trouble shooting (faults) PLC/ATWM and electrical problems.
- Identify likely cause and solution to remedy problems and report up findings while also conducting field maintenance and operation training to end users.
- Support Canadian service manager and FS Coordinator with onsite HPGR shutdown.
- Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (EIT)
- 2-3 years of relevant technical experience in mining field with crushers
- Must have PLC experience and ATWM training is an asset.
- Passport required as international training may be required
- Will consider Millwrights with a Red Seal & electrical, mining, or crushing experience
