Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and dispatch transportation services, including full truckload shipments and less-than-truckload (LTL) services
- Build and maintain solid relationships with contracted carriers and new transportation partners
- Provide spot quote pricing to customers and respond to quote requests promptly
- Regular and proactive telephone and electronic communication with customers to follow-up on and update current load activity
- Ensure that all loads are shipped in the most timely and efficient manner according to documented processes

Requirements:

- 4+ years experience in freight brokerage/logistics coordinating and dispatching truckload and less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services
- Strong familiarity with container drayage and air freight transport services preferred
- Knowledge of logistics/shipping terms and concepts
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems, while also able to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
- Accurate and timely data entry
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- A 'can do' team player able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a small team
- Solid computer skills including specialized dispatch and transportation management software, and Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
