Restaurant Manager Job Description

Pioneer Food Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that our establishment adheres to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, including budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, 16-20 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player.
