Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and serve customers with a smile, setting expectations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear to meet customer needs and standards.
- Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, showcasing your problem-solving skills.
- Utilize technology effectively, even in high-pressure situations, to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
- Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively, multitasking and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Strive for exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies, taking pride in your work and the store's appearance.
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
- Embody a resourceful and self-motivated attitude, with a desire for continuous learning and improvement.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Selling skills, including the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
- Embracing new technology and change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service and retail experience.
