Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at TEP GROUP. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the project management team with construction activities for aerial, buried, and underground fiber optic cable facilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, drafters, and administrative personnel to ensure successful project completion on time.
  • Support construction activities in both office and field environments, working with multiple crews daily in various weather conditions.
  • Verify correct facility depths, placements, and installations of pedestals/handholes, among other requirements.
  • Measure and record installed quantities regularly, coordinating with multiple construction crews.
  • Manage quality standards in accordance with project specifications, operating and maintaining field equipment and tools as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including daily updates and issue resolution.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data management.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle report (MVR) dating back 7 years.
  • Ability to work in adverse settings and climatic conditions.
  • Skilled at managing assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, walk, move, lift, and carry equipment (> 20lb) for extended periods.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with GIS, CAD, or LiDar is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, strong organizational skills, high level of integrity, and strong team player.
Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
