As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging is recruiting for a Image Sensor Design Specialist in Waterloo.

Job Summary:
Teledyne-DALSA’s Advanced Imaging group is looking for a creative and innovative individual who has proven ability in independently solving technical problems, can learn new technical concepts readily, and is looking to grow into a technical leadership role.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Physics, Nanotechnology, Electrical Engineering, or a related relevant field- At least 5 or more years of product development experience- Broad knowledge of systems engineering, semiconductor fabrication processes, microelectronic circuits, analog electronics, and optics- Knowledge and experience in semiconductor device physics, understanding of CMOS image sensor technology- Experience with optics and/or electronics- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and innovate in a dynamic environment- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Report writing is essential.- Proficiency in programming / data analysis software (Python, MATLAB, R, etc)- Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines- Controlled Goods screening will be required

The following experience/knowledge are not mandatory but will be assets:
- Experience with imaging technology- Experience leading root-cause investigations in complex systems- Proven experience managing a technical project & working with large multidisciplinary teams- Silicon chip circuit design experience is an asset, with particular emphasis on experience with image sensor design
